The Clergy
The assembly of the french clergy was a catholic group that met every five years to discuss the financial burdens that was in the French Catholic Church by the kings of France. They met between 1560 to 1789. They members ensured to the clergy an anonymous financial administration which allowed them to defend themselves taxation.
